Adam Bernstein is an ESG / Impact Analyst for Gitterman Wealth Management LLC. He is a core member of the firm’s SMART (Sustainability Metrics Applied to Risk Tolerance)® Investing Services team, which offers individuals and financial professionals investment opportunities in the Sustainable, Impact, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) arenas. Over the past several years, he has also helped to produce the 2018 Sustainable Investing Conference at the United Nations, as well as the 2017 and 2016 NYC Sustainable Investing Conferences.
Adam is a Board Member of the Sustainability Investment Leadership Conference (SILC), which works with corporations, investment firms, accountants, and law offices on how to integrate sustainability into their overall growth strategies. He is also currently part of the NYC Climate Braintrust, a climate change social entrepreneur accelerator backed by the World Economic Forum and Echoing Green.
Adam began his career at Merrill Lynch’s Global Wealth and Investment Management Division and Alliance Bernstein’s Thematic Portfolio Desk. He is a graduate of Elon University, where he received a CFA Institute recognition scholarship, and holds a BSBA in finance. While at Elon, he competed in both Track and Cross Country.
